I didn't use the included screen protector since it was clear and glossy, plus I already had a anti-glare screen protector I purchased from Amazon (Acase 3pk). The case skin has a nice textured feel to it but doesn't add any additional grip as I wished it would. The Touchpad feels really solid so you really don't need a lot of support to keep it in your hands. I waited almost two weeks before i even took my touchpad out of the box because i've heard of several complaints about finger prints and how easy it is to put scratches on the glossy plastic backing. Once the Armor shield arrived I immediately took it out of it's packaging and installed it on my touchpad and i'm glad i did cause I got a scratch on the back of the skin the next day.
